Eschborn, March 2026. Against a backdrop of continuing economic and geopolitical challenges, BWH Hotels Central Europe has demonstrated solid business performance in 2025. The hotel group – a company within the DEHAG Hospitality Group – underscores this with steadily rising growth figures for 2025 and a positive outlook for 2026.Total turnover remained stable last year – however, as this was achieved with a smaller number of hotels at the start of the year, the adjusted figure shows a slight increase; the accommodation segment grew by around two per cent. In figures, this represents a slight increase in total net turnover from 2024 to 2025, from €921.5 million to €921.8 million. The occupancy rate rose from 58.1% to 58.9%, the ADR from €111.11 to €112.04 and the RevPar from €64.55 to €65.99.

Authenticity continues to hold its own in the market

The number of affiliated hotels rose over the course of the year from 206 properties (22,662 rooms) in January to 222 hotels (23,305 rooms) in December. Growth has thus returned to pre-pandemic levels. Demand is broadly distributed and encompasses a variety of hotel types, brands and destinations. A key driver of growth is the partnership with ipartment in the long-stay segment, which currently covers eight properties; further locations are in the pipeline. A total of 17 new hotels are scheduled to be added by 2026, two of which have already been signed in Bochum and Wilhelmshaven. BWH Hotels anticipates continued growth for the current year, as emphasised by Marcus Smola, Managing Director of BWH Hotels Central Europe and member of the Executive Board of the DEHAG Hospitality Group: “Recent market turmoil and insolvencies highlight the industry’s current vulnerability. In contrast, our strong brand stands for stability and resilience. It is important to us that we do not merely project a brand image to the outside world, but that we embody it in every aspect of our work, thereby creating, together with our individual member hotels, an authenticity that stands the test of time in a challenging competitive environment.”

Brand Contribution: “We manage two-thirds of the accommodation revenue for all hotels”

“As was the case last year, we are expecting stable business performance this year as well, which should hold its own despite costs that remain significantly too high and a difficult global political situation,” explains Carmen Dücker, Managing Director of BWH Hotels Central Europe. This is already confirmed by a 1.6% increase in accommodation revenue across all BWH Hotels in January 2026. A glance at the brand contribution illustrates just how important the group is to its member hotels: in 2025, this stood at 62%, compared with 60% the previous year. “BWH Hotels now manages two-thirds of the accommodation revenue of its affiliated hotels – and the trend is clearly upwards,” said Dücker. “Hoteliers are seeking our support more than ever due to the high complexity in the areas of marketing and distribution and rising sales costs. This makes consultancy a key factor for success – which was one of the reasons we developed our new PRO concept, positioning BWH Hotels in the market as an operational support and strategic partner for hotels,” explains Marcus Smola.
