Eschborn, March 2026. BWH Hotels International reports worldwide growth of five percent in its hotel portfolio for the year 2025. The global hospitality network, which ranks among the leading international hotel groups, now comprises more than 4,000 hotels with over 330,000 rooms across one hundred countries on five continents. The strongest regions are North America and Europe, with 2,289 and 1,216 hotels respectively, followed by Asia with 161 hotels. Despite this smaller number, the Asian portfolio accounts for more than 30,000 rooms, equivalent to one-seventh of the BWH room inventory in Europe. Globally, BWH Hotels added more than 200 new hotels in 2025, along with over 230 new projects currently in the pipeline. Total revenue for BWH Hotels reached the 8.5‑billion‑US‑dollar mark last year.
66 million members: The global loyalty program as a key success factor
A central component of the group’s international success is its extensive sales network, including the renowned BWH loyalty program, which now counts around 66 million committed members. Key growth markets for BWH Hotels in 2026 and the coming years include Southeast Asia, with a focus on India, South Korea, and Vietnam, where demand for international brands in the upper hotel segment is rising significantly. Driven by increasing interest in leisure destinations, Latin America is also emerging as a region with strong future growth potential. North America remains the most dynamic market, with around 165 projects and a particular focus on core brands such as @Home by Best Western. In the Middle East, BWH Hotels is developing eleven new hotel projects as part of a long-term investment strategy aimed at reaching a total of 70 hotels in Saudi Arabia.
BWH Hotels rises to second place among soft-brand operators
Thanks to the growing success of WorldHotels, the BW Signature Collection, and the BW Premier Collection, BWH Hotels has now moved into second place among the industry’s soft‑brand operators. In 2025, WorldHotels also placed greater emphasis on wellness and glamping, launching new projects in the areas of spa resorts and outdoor experiences.
